This is a 'short url' registration system we put together several years ago. Basically you can shorted long URLs from photo albums or message boards into simple, short, easy to remember urls (like post1.wsroute.com). We also include detailed stats with each of our links. How is this a benefit? One example would be to post a picture URL to a message board using a short WSRoute address and then keep track of how many people view the picture, where they are from, what browser they are using, etc. We also include referring URL information.
These things may not be of a benefit to you, but you will benefit from creating a wsroute address by having your site included in the WSRoute directory as well as having your URL rotated on the main page. For some reason the site has always got a lot of visitors..but there just has never been a lot of signups to the service. This has basically ment the few people who have signed up are soaking up tons of traffic.
