BABY LAUGHS: THE NAKED TRUTH ABOUT THE FIRST YEAR OF MOTHERHOOD by Jenny McCarthy Rating: (4 STARS) This is a great book for the first-time mother. It will literally make you laugh out loud. You will find yourself nodding your head and saying "yep, that is so true" on nearly every page that you read. If you are having baby or post-pregnancy blues this is sure to snap you out of it. This is a book that any woman that has given birth can relate to. Once I started reading it, I literally could not put it down. I was cooking and reading, taking a poop and reading, even staying up way too late just to read the next chapter. It took me only two days to finish it. It was totally worth the lack of sleep and the tummy aches of laughter. I would recommend it to any woman looking to have a good laugh. THE DADDY CLOCK by Judy Markey Rating: (2 STARS) I have rated this book a 2 for the simple fact that I did not like the ending. I hate reading a book for a week all to find that the end just leaves you hanging. This is a book about a 44 year old man who wants a son and his search to find the perfect woman to give him that and the woman that gives her baby up for adoption. It is a semi-good read but I still hated the ending, I feel the author could have told me more in terms of what happened with the two characters.
