In order for the map to work on the new track , you must do a few things . All the maps are in the "cmaps-pc.pod" . Put this pod in a temporary folder and extract the files , keeping the directory structure intact . Now remove the "_M_SILVTN.TIF" from the ART folder and rebuild the pod using PodToll and use the same name .
Don't delete this file , just remove it from that pod . Now copy your SILVTN.POD file to a temporary folder and extract the files , keeping the directory structure intact . Add the file that you just removed to the ART folder for this pod . Now rebuild this pod using PodTool and using the same name .
This will give you the map for Silverton Pass only when you use the stock file . When you build your new track , add your map to the ART folder and pod it . Remember , we are naming all files SILVTN.*** to replace that track in the game . If you dont do this , it will still work but all custom tracks will have the Silverton Pass map .
