Stay Alive... B

So, this is the most recent movie I have seen, the last time was in November. On Saturday (3/25) afternoon, Gary and I were talking about movies and we decided to go watch a movie. Since we couldn't watch V for Vendetta, which was rated R, we chose to watch "Stay Alive". "Stay Alive" is a movie based on a group of teenagers-young adults who play a video game. If you die in the video game, you die in real life. This movie casts a bunch of younger and new actors, such as Sophia Bush and Frankie Muinez. It is a horror movie and does do a bit of scarying people, but it was not as interesting as the movie, The Skeleton Key. As you watch the movie, you will notice that one by one the characters are killed off, which is something most of us knew would happen. There was no surprising element. Nonetheless I give it a "B" for doing some frightening.

Mission Impossible III... A-

This movie is probably the epitome of all the spy movies. I watched MI 3 on Saturday, May 13, and at first I remember not wanting to. I thought MI 3 would be another boring movie, but I was wrong. In the beginning, I slept for about 5 - 10 minutes, possibly longer. After I woke up, I stayed awake the whole time. This is different compared to the Charlie and the Chocolate Factory movie I saw, when I woke up and slept, numerous times. In the movie, Ethan Hunt, no longer an active spy, has to deal with something called the Rabbit's foot. He faces a high tech criminal mastermind, loses a student, and almost loses his wife. I liked the inclusion of the different scenes of different cities in the world, as well as the inclusion of different languages, that I understand, like Cantonese. Overall, this is a very good movie and definitely deserves an A-!
