Disclaimer: Killer 7 is more of a collection of themes,and ideas rather than an actual fable.
As a result K7SIN emphasizes most of the focus on the politics of Killer 7.
The reason being is because the politics of K7 is the only aspect of
the game that is concrete,and doesn't rely on conjecture & theories.

Due to the nature of K7,
which is a game that is meant to be looked at as a piece of art.
Everybody is bound to interpret the game differently.
It is not K7 SIN's goal to tell visitors what exactly is going on in Killer 7.
Rather the SINdicate merely wishes to point individuals to the right direction of
what the main conflict is in Killer 7.
Which mostly centers around "information warfare",between U.S.A. & Japan.
The majority of the characters are politically motivated with the exception of the Killer 7.
The K7 are nothing more than a marionette that can be controlled at will.
All you need to do is pull the right strings.
The right strings being Garcian's immense bushido like loyalty to a man that he believes is his mentor,Harman Smith.

Prologue

1998

All international disputes resolved,July 3rd marked the celebration
of the birth of a global community that brought about true peace
across the globe.

2000

The great powers began peace-keeping activities on a global scale
under the banner of suppressing terrorism,completely shutting
down all air transport,and getting rid of every network terminal,all in the short span of two years.

2002 A network of intercontinental expressways opened,spanning the oceans,and bridging the continents.

2003 An Intercontinental delivery system
was constructed on a massive scale,
nuclear energy was banned,all
radioactive material was disposed of,and
all intercontinental missiles were eliminated,removing all threats to peace from the world.
Then there was a terrorist attack at the signing ceremony fror the UN World Security Treaty,with these
"Heaven Smile" terrorist bringing the UN to a complete halt.
Terrorism in it's truest sense - an act done to instill terror.
And the world stood in silence at this new fear.
So the great powers enlisted the help of the "Killer 7",the only ones capable of wiping out the new
threat known as the Heaven Smile.



"The Status Quo"

The (Japanese) United Nations Party
After the climax of World War II,
Several ex members of the Liberal Party banded together,and founded the United Nations Party.
Since its establishment,it has become Japan's leading political party.
Toru Fukushima is the party's leader.

The Liberal Party
The Liberal Party is the second most powerful political party in Japan.
Intent on destroying the U. N. Party,
the Liberal Party wants to reclaim its lost place as the forerunning political party in Japan.
The Liberal Party desired an extension of the Asian Security Treaty,
and therefore kept its relationship with the U. S. Government in good condition.
Oppositely, Toru Fukushima annuled his relationship with the U. S. Government.
His intentions to end the security treaty were for the interest of
establishing Japan as a truly independent state.

The Liberal Party wants to reclaim control of the Japanese Government,
to protect the Japanese people's interests.
They regard Fukushima's action as reckless.
Since the Liberal Party desires a more complex relationship of support with the United States,
It's only natural that they should try to assassinate the leader of their Japanese competition.

The United States of America
Since the foundation of the United States of America,
many organizations and political parties struggled for power.
Although history recognizes the United States of America's government as a democratic republic,
it is rumoured that a shadow government really runs the country.

The U.S. Government
The U. S. Government holds contemptible feelings toward Japan
due to Toru Fukushima's decision to severe all ties with The United States.
The Killer7
recieve their missions from the U. S. Government,
through Christopher Mills.

The U.S. Opposition Party
Behind the scenes,the U. S. Opposition Party is connected with Kun Lan's catastrophe from the EAST.
The Opposition Partie's goal is to help Kun Lan crush the United States.
The U. S. Opposition Party controls the U. S. Immigration Bureau.
(They greatly contributed to Curtis Blackburn's & Pedro Montana's black market organ trade ring.)

The International Ethics Committee
The International Ethics Committee is a peace-keeping organization that mediates in international conflict.
The IEC intends to make the United States attack Japan.
The International Ethics Committee plan
to colonize Japan with Russian and Asian populations.
They have already occupied Hokkaido and Kyushu; now,
they are arguing over concession of Honshu (Japan's mainland) with the United States.
In Singapore, the negotiations regarding the division of Japan continue.

Yakumo

Toru Fukushima:
"It's a really old story...
Union 7,a group made up of 7 young men
drew up the Yakumo party cabinet policy.
The heat of factional politics eventually broke down the Union 7.
It was like a warm welcome in the world of politics.
It became clear to me then...
This country didn't have what it took to compete with the rest of the world."

Note:Japan's U.N. Party may have engineered the majority of the 10 million secret Japanese members spread across the globe.
The following are portions of an excerpt about the Yakumo from James Clinton Howell's Plot FAQ that I have rewritten with my own perspective.

Yakumo = (Ya)eight (kumo)clouds

Japan is controlled by the politicians of their United Nations Party.
The U.N. party of the Japanese government is in possesion of the Yakumo.
It is a cabinet policy which was created in 1953,
by young members of the Liberal party called the Union Seven.
The Yakumo cabinet policy is said to be able to propel a nation toward total domination of the world--or, at least, primary control.
It was developed as a camouflaged operation made to look like a democratic nation.

At sheer face value the Japanese "United Nations" party would lead a person to think
that Japan had renounced their fascist attitude of racial supperiorty over their neighbors across the globe.
To finally become one with other nations.
However as shown by Andrei Ulmeyda of the "Cloudman" scenario,
people only judge a book by it's cover.
Much similar to Ulmeyda's "First Life" corporation that only ran commercials,
the title of Japan's "United Nations" party is but an illusion,
and only a United Nations party in name only.
Most likely to appease both their eastern & western neighbors,
while still free of suspicion to accomplish their (Japan) goals.
The United Nations party within Japan are mostly composed of politicians that are only pretending to be politicians.
For the Yakumo (cabinet policy) is merely a revision of the same ideology
that led them to the rise of the Imperial army.
Followers of a deity (The emperor of Japan),destined for global supremacy.

Battleship Island

Travis:
"You wanna hear something? I'll tell you straight up,
okay? Basically, these talks are a war of proxy for the owner, Fukushima.
But the attendees are 3rd-rate bureaucrats.
And when the prey is sub-par, so are the assassins.

Battleship Island is a Japanese military stronghold,
that serves as a hub for the creation of Heaven Smiles.

During february 2010 an onslaught of about 200 missles were launched toward Japan.
It was the "Eastern Threat" that initiated such an attack.
I assume the unprovoked attack
is due to some unsettled disputes in the far east.
Who or what were the "Eastern Threat" is never specificly identified,
but I assume that the main powers behind the eastern threat were China,or India,
& possibly Russia.
With South Korea & Signapore playing second fiddle to either China or India.
Taiwan is unspoken for as they're the only nation in the east
that's still on somewhat mutual/friendly terms with Japan.
Or at least when compared to other nations of the East.

Japan is not in possesion of their own Defense System,
As such Japan does not have the ability to launch "the fireworks."
(The explosion that occurs when missles collide.)

Their survival as a country is completly reliant on the United States.
However the U.S. delayed their response in order to see the true "test of Japan's value".
Sadly the consensus amongst the countries of the world feel that Japan is not worth saving,
and not a single one of them feel any remorse for the eminent demise of Japan.
With the destruction of the Japanese government,
the former Japanese territories would be open bounty for all neighboring countries.
Note:Damn I would not envy the Okinawans who would get caught up in between this mess.

The fate of Japan rests in Toru Fukushima's hands,
but if he were to fall who would have the ability needed to follow in his foot steps?...

In 2003, the United Nations Army intervened on international conflicts and brought true peace to the entire world,
for people of all races.
The United Nations declared world peace.

The U. N. Party is specifically Japanese, and specifically operates within the context of U. S./Japanese diplomacy.

Global disarmament commenced.
All members of the United Nations signed a formal agreement,
dedicating their countries to a total abolition of weapons of mass destruction.
The agreement stipulated that the disposal of the weapons of mass destruction must occur
within plain view of the entire world's population;
this meant that undersea or underground detonations were not allowed.
The United Nations decided that the missiles should be launched outside the Earth's atmosphere,
then intercepted by other missiles, thereby exploding all missiles at once.

These explosions lit up the night sky.
Because of their resemblance, these explosions were called "Fireworks."
They were the most anticipated event in the history of the world.
The International Photographic Mapping Office transmitted photographs of these explosions all over the world,
so that anyone who missed the explosions could see proof.
In April 2005, the Fireworks took place in the sky above Ibiza island.
The sky over Japan was chosen, also, as a point of detonation.

All this is how history records the events.
However, in reality, the "peace for people of all races" was imposed by the United Nations Army,
and the World Peace Declaration was superficial.
Oppositely, racial tensions increased under pressure from the United Nations.

In 1996, the International Photographic Mapping Office was created as an organ of the United Nations.
Initially, the office was supposed to sort and distribute aerial photographs for the United Nations Army.
Several years later, however, the office was involved fully in controlling media and commercial images.

In 1998, the private use of the Internet was banned globally by the United Nations.
Under the influence of such organizations as "Security Council," "Economic
and Social Council," and "Human Rights Committee," regulation on the uses of the Internet was reinforced.
The restrictions were established to help protect national secrets,
as well as individual information, and to protect against cyber- terrorism in the global market.

As a result, analog devices replaced digital devices to support the networks and other media.

However, even after 1998, a computer network still operates that supports hackers and devoted online gamers.
Love Wilcox rose to celebrity status among the members of this underground subculture.

Kun Lan

He's Tibetan half Chinese.
Kun Lan is the son of a governor.,and born as an adult
He is known to be an incarnation of the demon,Marla Parpiner.
At the tender age of three,Kun Lan became the leader of underground societies.
His power has made him known as "God's Hand."
Kun Lans objective is the destruction of nations,using billions of Heaven Smiles.

In reality he's simply just playing a game of chess with his good old friend,sympathetic companion,& foe Harman Smith.
The world just happens to be thier chessboard.

The catastrophe from the east,
who has chosen a U.N. party upstart,Kenjiro Matsuoka to be his messiah.

Heaven Smile

The Smiling faces. They are the group of individuals who broke the harmony of the one world serenity,
& have caused paranoia of terrorism throughout the world
Heaven Smile are people who are touched by Kun Lan's "God Hand," lose thier mind,and run wild.
Once they become a "Heaven Smile," they turn into walking timebombs,and self-destruct
wherever they can find people around.

What's more,they are able to camouflage
themselves,and disappear into the urban landscape,making them nearly impossible to
see with the naked eye.
They're always smiling. If you hear one of
their wicked laughs,watch out,for danger is near.

"Unshakeable vote"

Christopher Mills:
"Most ballot votes are at schools.
The Education ministry is in charge of the schools.
The results of the election are rigged from the start.
Voting is just for show before votes are counted,
The education ministry does a switcheroo.
The biggest magic trick on earth.

In other words...
The most powerful man in the country is the education secretary.
But a Japanese put him out.
The dog bit back at it's owner.

Revenge for being left for death.
This is big trouble.
Corrupt officials are at a loss.
The country has been revealed for what it is --- a monster.
But will anything change?
You expect some revolution?
Well a dog can't do shit.
Has a dying country ever created anything worth it's salt?"

NOTE:Mr. Mills is referring to the murder of Greg Nightmare,and he feels that "Matsuken" is the culprit.

The U.S. presidential election is in the hands of the education ministry.
They manipulate the votes,and bring forth political leaders.
Toru Fukushima once held control of the "Unshakeable vote" of the second generation Japanese- American citezens.

Due to the Resturant Fukushima debacle,
Toru Fukushima was no longer able to attend the negotiation talks,
and two members of the Japanese Liberal party were appointed Fukushima's task in his absence.
The negotiations of a security pact with the U.S.A.
were nothing more than dogs barking (U.S.A.) & monkeys jabbering (Japan)
The two parties couldn't come to terms,so both Japan & U.S.A. representatives eliminated each other.
Talks of a possible security pact with the United States were called off.
Kenjiro Matsuoka "Matsuken",the only remaining member of the Japanese U.N. party,took over Fukushima's role,and is now
Leader of 10 million secret Japanese members that are scattered across the world.
He is a major force.
If the secret Japanese members gathered in one state,and organized their votes as one large block vote.
They can influence the vote into their (Japan's) favor.

Is Killer 7 Anti American?

Prime minister Koizumi visiting the Yasukuni shrine.
While this may not seem all that offensive to you or I,the Yasukuni shrine sure as hell pisses off Korea & China.

Contrary to popular belief,Bush JR. isn't the ignoramus that he would lead you to believe.

No,Killer 7 is pretty much criticsizing the governmental bodies of both Japan & the U.S.A. & not the citezens of the country itself.
Most of us in the western hemisphere fail to see this though.
Perhaps it's the result of American arrogance that we're known for.
The governments of both Japan & the U.S.A. are both made out to look corrupt,
but the sad reality is,their portrayals seem like they could be pretty close to the truth.

Part of what Mr. Toru Fukushima said is true.
Especially when applied to the Japanese government.
I may have only lived in Japan for five years of my life,
but from what I've seen,I tend to view some Japanese politicians as a joke. Knowing most of them were former celebrities.
(Remember the uproar when Arnold Scharzneggar was elected Cali gov. awhile back?
It's even worse in Japan they have several former sumos, wres tlers,actors & the like that are employed as politicians based on their popularity.)

The slander that Killer 7 says against the U.S. seems to mirror real life as well.

Ask yourself how is it that individuals such as Bill Clinton & George Bush Jr. get elected president more than once.
The answer is because they had no competition,but have you ever wondered why their competition is so meager?

In Killer 7 both Japan & U.S. are being accused of practicing a fake democracy.
With Japan maintaining their old ideals under the guise of a democratic government,
& the democracy of the U.S.A. was never truly a democratic government at all.
As every single one of their presidents have been predetermined before hand.
Presidential elections are only held to appease the American public to
give them the illusion that the government is decided by the people.

I'm not saying that I truly believe this,but it is the message that I have interpreted from Killer 7.

Note: The term, the "Eastern Threat" was coined by Suda51 during an interview in the brady games strategy guide.
In order to understand the predicament that Killer 7's Japan is in.
You must first educate yourself about the current geopolitics of the Asian hemisphere.
Out in the east,almost all social ills,& problems within their society (Mostly China & Korea.)
no matter how unrelated the events may be,
are usually erroneously attributed to Japan.
Why you may ask?
Because it is a political maneuver meant to divert negative attention away from the "Eastern governments"
,and place all the blame on Japan,the scapegoat of Asia.
For the collective will of Asia still feels that Japan must pay for their transgresions during WW II.

Editor's note: The biggest dilemma that plagues Asia is that all three of the leading East Asian nations. (Japan,Korea & China)
Have a bad habit of rewriting history to fit their own agenda.
All three nations tend to label theirselves as the victims.
The most comical detail of it all is, what does Korea have to gain with all this political ruckus?
China & Japan I can understand,as they are both contenders that participate in the game of politics.
(Although Japan does a pretty poor job at that.)
Whereas Korea,although a rising economy is still pretty insignificant in the grand scheme of things.
They (Korea) seem to have forgotten that they were Japan's biggest ally during WW II.
Yet they mask it all,by claiming that they were empowered & enslaved by the Japanese,
not unlike African Americans of the United States.
Clearly the Koreans have no idea how African American history transpired,since the two incidents do not parallel at all.
Korea was merely in the process of becoming what Okinawa is today.
A country that is fully intregated with Japan in both culture & language.
Sure that may sound harsh,but it's not like Korea had a choice. It was either Japan or Russia.
Judging by the current state of North Korea
,I feel that the Korean far Leftist need to get off their soapbox.
