Incase you didn’t already know, my name is Melody, well one of my names at least. I’m half Taiwanese and half Jordanian. I was made in the late 80’s, which puts me at 19 years of age. Lets see, I live in Tejas (unfortunately), I used to live in Chico, CA among many (many, many) other places. I’m in college majoring in chemistry.
I love to read even more than I love to sleep, which, for anyone who actually knows me, quite a whole lot. I’m also very into photography; again, anyone who knows me knows that I usually have a camera (or two) with me wherever I go. I can usually be spotted around the metroplex in a purple car (it’s the one that actually uses its turn signals).
I am unhealthily obsessed with hockey, soccer, and boxing, at least that’s what my male friends say. According to my therapist I am clinically sane, so no calling me crazy (at least not to my face). I suck at any video games that cannot be played on the classic Nintendo gaming console. I am the reining queen of Tetris and pinball (at least among my friends). I love to gamble; poker, blackjack, slots, you name it, I love it.
I’m very into music, though I cannot stand American pop or (c)rap “music”. I especially love Chinese music. I play the guitar, not very well, but I play none the less. I love traveling and learning new things. I love languages, I hope to learn 10 languages before I’m 30.
Embarrassingly enough, I have kept a diary since I was eight, but even being the weird tekkie that I am, I still prefer the good old-fashioned paper and pen version. So much so, that I even buy pretty leather bound journals and keep a diary pen, ehh, lame I know. Lets see what else about me is there to write? Um, I have written two novel length stories, a few decent short stories, and two journals worth of poems, some of which have even been published. I’m currently writing another novel length story. And while nothing I have written so far is up to my standards, I hope to write something that is and maybe try to get that published, but it’s not what I aspire to do with my life.
While I do write a lot, I find that I am unable to write essays, book reports, and these stupid little autobiographies that just all the crack. Oh, yeah I remembered some things: I have never seen more than 10 minutes of any Star Wars movie and I am a total Harry Potter geek. I’m really short, I’m only 5’2”. I swear a whole lot, I have the mouth of sailor and trucker’s love child. So yeah, that is pretty much me in a nut shell.
