Everybody wants the best computer, but with prices being so high, not everyone can afford it. The next best thing is to keep your current computer healthy, and how do we do this? By keeping our privacy and safety from the internet and fixing all the errors and getting rid of unwanted and unnecessary software. You might be thinking "Why does he have an OPTIMIZE PC section? That's kind of random compared to the site theme." Well, I am a graphic designer by trade and what is a graphic designers best friend? His computer. I need to keep my computer running as smooth as possible, otherwise Photoshop won't run as smoothly during large file designs. So here are Dino T's top choice freeware to help you keep your computer fast and reliable. |
| The Browser You Can Trust! |
| First things first. Since you are using the internet right now, otherwise you wouldn't be able to view this, you need a browser you can trust. Are you using Internet Explorer? Think it's good? Well think again. It's not the safest of browsers and it's features are limited. What you need is Firefox to take back the web. Otherwise, whats the point of surfing the web and downloading all of these programmes if while you're doing it, your computer's at risk? I use Firefox and have never looked back. This site is best viewed in Firefox, and even though there's a horizontal scrollbar on two of my pages when viewed in Internet Explorer, I don't care. Why don't I care? Because I'm strongly supportive of Firefox and if webmasters keep creating sites to suit Internet Explorer, the average user isn't going to go out of his way to download a browser just to see the same site, the same way. |

| Take Back Your Wasted Ram! |
| When ever you install
new software on your computer, or access the computer, your
computer uses up RAM.
RAM is a type of computer memory. In common usage,
the term RAM is synonymous with main memory, the memory
available to programs. For example, a computer with 8M RAM
has about 8 million bytes of
memory that can be used for running programmes. The more
time you spend on the internet and run programmes, the more
RAM your computer uses, which
causes it to slow down. This of course goes back to normal
once you turn your computer off. But what's the point of
having a computer if it's only fast when it's on stanby? How do we get back some of the RAM lost? Easy, with FreeRAM XP Pro. Installing this now will help speed up the downloading time for the next programmes. |

There aren't many free anti-virus software out there, and chances are, many aren't ICSA Certified. | Ok, we've saved you some RAM and cleaned your registry and set up your virus defence. Now, we need to clean out your computer from adds that websites or downloaded programmes have set up without you knowing. Adware and Spyware spy on you, recording everything you do and sending the information back to it's creator. This is used in marketing so businesses can tell which websites you prefer, which you bookmark and what you download. As well as telling the creator what programmes you have installed on your computer. This is a huge breach of privacy and also slows down your computer by taking up memory for its storage. Below, you'll find three 5 star rated programmes that will eliminate all your privacy issues, at least from a computer stand point. |
