1976 Chevy Monte Carlo
I don't have any pictures of the car as I first got it and I don't have any pictures right before the demo, this is about it. I built the hell out of this car but it was just too rough I shouldn't have ever messed with it anyway, car was $50 and the bumpers are worth that though I guess, but probably should have just sold the rest of the car to some rookie or taken it to the junkyard.
Just to show how rusty it was, the back pillars were rusted, gone, the back area above the trunk, rusted away too, the fenders were rusted out, there just wasn't much there except the frame.
Here's a front picture of it after Mt. Carmel, IL in May 2004. Front frame is super tough, took some half track shots by a suicide door to get it to give a little bit but it really isn't bent much.
Can't tell to well in this pic but it's the best I got for trying to show how the ass end is, the humps kinked and the rear frame bent real bad right in front of the hump too, pinion angle went down real far and the CV wasn't enough and lost the driveshaft in this car too. The CV wasn't the part that broke though, but it was at an angle where a weld in the middle of the shaft gave, probably more so shitty welding than anything else but it was fine until the car bent bad. Enough car left I could run it again, not sure if I'd trust the ass end to hold up at all, probably would just drive forwards til it snouted out.
