EQUIN VILLAGE STATS PAGE

Every hunter is defined by his / her statistics. Here is a rundown:

 

 ATTACK:  Physical Attack power. Weapons are your main source of this.
  DEFENSE: Your ability to withstand physical damage from other weapons, claws, teeth, etc.
 SPIRIT:  Your general ability to withstand damages other than physical.
  ACCURACY: The ability to hit an enemy with your weapons. Lightweight weapons have higher accuracy than others.
  EVADE:   The chance to dodge an enemy's attack altogether!
  LOCKPICK: Your chance to open a locked treasure chest. If it's at zero, you won't open it.

     LIFE:    The hunter's life force. When it reaches zero, you die. Death cannot be undone and you'll lose your
              equipped gear forever. But you can always visit his gravestone behind the tavern! Hooray!
    
     LEVEL:  
Your overall toughness. You all start at level 1.

     CHANCE %: Your ability to inflict other-worldly damages upon the enemy. They are:
            
              SET ABLAZE: Light the enemy on fire. Ow!
              FREEZE: Shards of razor-sharp ice pierce the enemy. Brrr!
              POISON: Poison the enemy and drain it's life every turn. The more powerful the poison, the better!
              STUN: Stun your enemy into a hapless dope! You will never miss a stunned enemy with your weapon.
              VIOLENT HIT:
Your chance to do a critical attack. Blood bursts from the enemy for big damage!

     PROTECT %: Your ability to withstand these awful effects.
     TREASURE HUNTER: You can gain the power to find more gold and get more items from your foes!
     TREASURE MASTER: Twice the power of the regular treasure hunter stat. This stat is very rare.
     ADVENTURER OWNED: Gives you more experience points per kill and  +1 bonus point when you level up.
     LIFE REGENERATION: Slowly regain your life force over time.
     COUNTER-ATTACK: You'll have a 20% chance to strike back when an enemy hits you. Very rare stat.
     COMPASS EFFECT: You will gain the powers of a compass without having to actually hold one.
     DEFEND FIRE: A more powerful form of fire protection. Double the strength of regular fire protection.
     DEFEND ICE: A more powerful form of ice protection. Double the strength of regular ice protection.
     DEFEND POISON: A more powerful form of poison protection. Double the strength of regular poison protection.
     DEFEND STUN: A more powerful form of stun protection. Double the strength of regular stun protection.
     INCREASED ENCOUNTER RATE: You will get attacked by monsters more often.
     PIERCES ARMOR: All attacks do damage as if the enemy's defense was 0.
     TIME PASSES SLOWLY: The days and nights will last longer, extending your hunt.
     DAMAGE FROM ENEMY x 2:
All your foes will hit you for double damage! Ow!

     DAMAGE VS: Some weapons are also better suited to deal with a particular type of enemy. When this weapon is
              used against this type of enemy, your critical hit rate will increase drastically and overall
              damage is increased! Here are the four damage vs. possibilities:

              UNDEAD    : Includes skeletons, zombies, vampires, etc.
              BUGS      : Spiders, insect men, etc.
              REPTILES  : Lizards, Dragons, etc.
              SEALIFE   : Fish, Giant Squid, etc.
     
     LEVEL TO USE: Most items require that the hunter also be a certain level in order to use or
               wear them. These will still show up as usuable to the hunters, but they won't be able to
               actually equip them until their level is at least as high as the item's requirement.
