Sitesled Overiew:
Sitesled.com offers Free Web Hosting to webmasters. Each free account includes 250MB of Disk Space, 30 gigs/mo bandwidth, Real FTP accounts, Browser Based File Upload Manager with HTML Editor, and more! We have developed a Banner Exchange and Friends List program to help members promote their sites (these programs are also open to webmasters who have sites not hosted on our network).

Our Staff of volunteers is working hard to prepare tutorials, guides, and other relevant topics. Stay tuned!

Everything You Ever Wanted to Know About index.html

When you type in the URL of a web site, but do not specify an actual file name (eg http://username.sitesled.comexternal link, the server will look for a file named "index.html" and will display it on your browser. This is the home page for the web site. You can display the same page by typing http://username.sitesled.com/index.html.external link

Shoutbox Module Added To Knowledge Base.

If you register with the Wiki System? you'll be able to instantly post messages to the shoutbox.
What is a shoutbox? Shoutboxes are miniature message boards that web pages utilize for quick communication. They are much like Instant Messengers, only all messages go directly to the site. A user types in their message and it is added instantly (through a feature called "auto-refresh") onto the board, allowing chat and comments to take place without wasting forum space.
